Philosophy and Goals

Alpha Christian Academy was founded in 1998 as a ministry of First Christian Church of Winter Park.  It is a non-denominational school with grades Preschool through 8th grade.  At Alpha we believe every child deserves a great beginning - academically and spiritually.  We are please to partner with parents and the church by providing an academically challenging, Christ-centered education.
Listed below are several qualities which enhance our program:

• Preschool 3 & 4 year old program- our PreK 4 class is reading by December
• Small class sizes- 1:15 teacher to student ratio
• Qualified and Christian Staff and Faculty

Your child’s academic education and spiritual growth is at the forefront of everything we do.  That is why we have chosen the A-Beka curriculum which is accelerated and Christian based.  We have carefully hired qualified faculty who are prepared to teach your child academically and spiritually and share the love of Christ on a daily basis.  Our vision is that the children placed in our care will develop a closer relationship with Jesus Christ and, in turn, a Christian worldview.  Daily we strive to assist your child in developing to their fullest potential using Biblical standards that will one day assist them in becoming productive and responsible citizens.
